SSC CHSL 2025 Tier-I Admit Card Out

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit card of Tier-1 exam on its official website for the SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Tier-I Examination 2025. This exam is for recruitment on 3131 posts.  The exam will start from 12th November 2025. Candidates can check their Exam City Details using their Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth by logging into the portal. Details are provided below.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential qualification as on 18.07.2025, i.e. on the closing date of online application form-

  • Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture-

  • Candidates must have passed 12th Standard pass in science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

 

 

 

Selection Process

1st Stage Tier-I Exam will start from 12 November 2025.

1st Stage, Tier-I Computer Based Test is qualifying in nature will consist of one objective-type multiple-choice paper containing 100 questions (200 Marks). For correct answer 2 marks will be provided & for wrong answer 0.50 mark will be deducted.

Time allowed for examination is 60 min.

  • General Awareness: 50 Marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Marks
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Marks
  • English Language: 50 Marks
On the basis of Candidate performance & normalization of marks in Tier-I exam, qualified candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-II, subject to the condition that the candidate should have scored minimum cut-off in Tier-1, which is provided below-

  • UR: 30%
  • EWS/OBC: 25%
  • All other categories: 20%

2nd Stage Tier-II Exam Date will be updated here.

2nd Stage, Tier-II Computer Based Test is divided into two sessions. Session-I will consist of three sections & time allotted for each sections individually. Session-II will consist of Skill Test/Typing Test.

Session-I will consist of three sections where questions are in objective-type multiple-choice containing 135 questions (405 Marks). For correct answer, 3 marks will be provided & for wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Total time allowed for examination is 135 minute which is divided section-wise.

Section-I: – Time allowed is 60 min.
  • Mathematical Abilities: 90 Marks
  • Reasoning & General Intelligence: 90 Marks
Section-II: – Time allowed is 60 min.
  • English Language and Comprehension: 120 Marks
  • General Awareness: 60 Marks
Section-III: – Time allowed is 15 min.
  • Computer Knowledge Test: 45 Marks

Session-II will consist of Skill Test/ Typing Test which will be qualifying in nature.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture-
  • Skill Test/Tying Test will be conducted for English passage of about 3700-4000 key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes.
For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ except in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture-
  • Skill Test/Tying Test will be conducted for English passage of about 2000-2200 key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes.
For other posts i.e. LDC/JSA-
  • The speed will be adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.
  • The candidates will have to opt for the medium of Typing Test (i.e. either Hindi or English) in the online Application Form.
  • Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.). 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to about 10500 key depressions per hour and about 9000 key depressions per hour respectively.
On the basis of Candidate performance & normalization of marks in Tier-II exam, qualified candidates would be shortlisted in merit list, subject to the condition that the candidate should have scored minimum cut-off in section-I, section-II & section-III of Tier-II exam, which is provided below-

  • UR: 30%
  • EWS/OBC: 25%
  • All other categories: 20%

Section-III and Session II of Tier-II i.e. Computer Knowledge Test and Skill Test/Typing Test are qualifying in nature. Candidates who are not qualified in Section-I & Section-II of Tier-II will not be eligible for evaluation of Section-III & Session-II and they will not be considered for further selection process.

Merit List: – Merit List will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks scored in Section-I & Section-II of Tier-II examination only subject to qualifying Section-III & Session-II of Tier-II.
