1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of one objective-type multiple-choice paper containing 100 questions. For correct answer 1 marks will be provided & for wrong answer 0.33 mark will be deducted.Time allowed for examination is 120 mins. |

On the basis of Candidate performance & normalization of marks in Tier-I exam, qualified candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-II, 8 times the number of vacancies, subject to the condition that the candidate should have scored minimum cut-off in Tier-1, which is provided below-

2nd Stage Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) shall have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi. No negative marking. |
Qualifying marks: The candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. This is applicable to all candidates irrespective of community or category. |
| DV & Medical :- Shortlisting of candidates for DV and Medical Examination shall be done RRB-wise at the rate of 1:1 of the vacancies for that RRB. It will be based on the combined merit in CBT and CBAT, 70% weightage to CBT and 30% weightage to CBAT will be given for combined merit. Only candidates who have passed the CBAT exam will be taken into consideration. | |
