Age Limit

For UR/EWS/OBC Rs 500/-

For SC/ST/EBC/All Female Rs 250/-

Candidate can make payment through online mode by using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI mode.

After appearing in Stage I exam General / OBC / EWS category student will get refund of Rs. 400/- and other category students will get refund of Rs. 250/- in their bank account.

Maximum Age: 36 Years

Age relaxation will be given as per RRB regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential qualification as on 22.02.25, i.e. on the closing date of online application form-

  • Candidates who have completed class 10 (High School) from a school recognized by NCVT/SCVT or hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT are eligible to apply for the RRB Group D recruitment exam.

Selection Process

1st Stage Exam Date is from 17 November 2025.

1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of one objective-type multiple-choice paper containing 100 questions. For correct answer 1 marks will be provided & for wrong answer 0.33 mark will be deducted.

Time allowed for examination is 90 mins.

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 Marks
  • Mathematics: 25 Marks
  • General Science: 25 Marks
  • General Awareness & Current Affairs: 20 Marks
On the basis of Candidate performance & normalization of marks in Tier-I exam, qualified candidates would be shortlisted for Tier-II, 3 times community wise of the number of vacancies, subject to the condition that the candidate should have scored minimum cut-off in Tier-1, which is provided below-

  • General/EWS: 40%
  • OBC/SC/ST: 30%
  • All Ex-servicemen would be treated in their own category viz., UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS.

2nd Stage PET Date will be updated here.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and a combination test of running & weight-lifting.

Qualifying in nature.

Ex-Servicemen will be exempted from Physical Efficiency Test.

 

Male Candidates:
  • Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
  • Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
Female Candidates:
  • Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
  • Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
DV & Medical: – Shortlisting of candidates for DV and Medical Examination shall be done RRB-wise on the basis of their performance in CBT subject to their qualifying in PET at the rate of 1:1 of the vacancies for that RRB.
